Neither. Amongst the Fuji's, the X-M5 is the rangefinder style body for you. The X-M5, X-S20, and X-H2 / X-H2S are the hybrid video cameras. They have a lot more options friendly to video stuff, including support for adding in fans to cool the thing down; better connectivity, etc. If you're really s

To do various things? Fujifilms X-M5 is a great camera, it's the same price but it still needs a lens. But it does great video, photos, has lots of features more than then X-Half. Has the film simulators. It doesn't have the same rangefinder style body or a EVF. if you value the aesthetic and rangef

You need a Richoh GRIII or Fujifilm X-m5. I have the X-M5 and love it. Ricoh video is very bad (while X-m5 is pretty great), but Ricoh GR IV which was announced but not released yet is expected to have some improvements to the video.

I was in the exact same spot just a few months ago. I distinctly remember falling out of love with photography around last August, outside of work as a freelance photographer/videographer, I just didn’t feel motivated to shoot at all. That’s when I started looking for ways to reignite that spark, an

"I am not good with photo editing and I don’t think I would want to get into that so I am looking for a camera that would not require me to do any edits." It's not like a camera requires editing.. it's up to you if you want to edit and get the most out of your images or if you just want to shoot and

I’d add to another comment above that some people buy it looking for a camera with a viewfinder, and this one doesn’t have one, or looking for a built-in flash, and it doesn’t have that either — you know what I mean? If that’s your case and you’re looking for those features, I’d recommend other opti

my biggest recommendation is to go to your local camera store and see if they will let you try out the X-M5 in store. theres a lot of features the X-M5 has that your sony doesnt, but they arent really things that will effect your overall image quality, its more-so AF-tracking modes and better video

X-M5 would be a great option. Don’t worry about the lack of IBIS. The lens it comes with, and quite a few lenses you’ll be using with it, will have OIS (basically IBIS but inside the lens instead). The others will be fast lenses which help mitigate the need, and there are ways to get by without IBIS

I don't recommend a Ricoh if you want to do any amout of video work. It's a photography first camera and video is very limited. Get something like a Nikon Z30 or Z50ii with the Nikkor 24mm f1.7, or a Fujifilm X-M5 with a similar lens. It'll cost you less and get you better results. Plus you'll have

No I think the X-E5 with that prime lens is the closest thing Fujifilm does to the X100VI. You have correctly summarised some of the pros and cons and obviously the choice is between interchangeable lenses and availability versus a number of things in favour of the X100VI. I guess an alternative is
