Finding a 22+ year old forum where people fight about Leicas reminds me that the ciclejerking has been going on for a Long time
It pains me thinking that Fujifilm took that oath by castrating their AF and focusing on poser cameras like the x-half. They don't even hide behind the "high quality" mask of Leica and make everything out of Japan to cash out as much as possible. It's depressing, honestly.

Took my baby to our last trip to Presa del Llano. Still not sure about the grain tbh. Do you think Fuji will adjust it in the future?🌳
I'm not holding my breath tbh... It feels like low hanging fruit for them to give grain more granularity (pun intended :-P) but considering that the the whole X Half operation hasn't been the viral success they were hoping for, and that the Fujifilm of 2025 is not the same we had 10 years ago we mig

Help me with the right camera and my preferences?
Fujifilm is famous for its out-of-camera JPEGs. However, they are quite trendy and expensive, and the only new one in your budget is the Fujifilm X half, which is a rather simplistic camera.

3 weeks with my Flashback v2!
Those look great! I’ve been very impressed with the results, too. It’s definitely the best at producing a realistic retro image that isn’t blown out. I have a Camp Snap and a Papershoot, and I never plan to use those ever again. They are slow af and everything is overexposed by a stop and a half. No

People hate when M43 mentioned apparently
Fujifilm sort of did that with the X-Half. But with a 1" sensor and a dumbed down system that doesn't let you shoot raw. And then they priced it twice what it is worth because they're Fujifilm.

X half for my use case ?
I expected it to meet minimum Fujifilm company standards, but the reality is I have to edit every image to rescue any that are good shots content-wise. My phone takes far better shots than the X-Half, which gives results similar to digital cameras I owned in the late 90's. I expect to edit shots fro

Monthly /r/Nikon discussion thread – have a question? New to the Nikon world? Ask it here! [2025-07-01]
I am on a bit of a limited budget but I've been doing photography for about 5 years and would like something that would last me. I'm fine with starting with lower equipment because I spent half of my Fuji's lifespan adapting film lenses. I usually would not get the latest and greatest, however, the
