First attempt at motorsport photography with old, borrowed gear. I had a blast!

Well, newer camera bodies can have newer sensors and processing and as such can have better noise performance at high ISOs. I don't know if you are looking for a specific brand or something, but some things to consider if you want to go mirrorless anyway:- Canon hasn't really opened up their lensmou

Viltrox release new Z lens, after recently sued by Nikon

I only have the 35mm F1.2 and the 25mm F1.7 AIR which is great, cheap, light and super tiny. I use it on my super compact Fujifilm X-E3 kit. I don't bring my pro gear on personal trips or holidays.

I have a $2k budget. I'd like something compact, fixed lens, and something that can shoot < 30MP. Additional details inside. What are my options, and what's your recommendation?

Yeah sounds like Fujifilm. Small APSC cameras, great quality, great colours, very big selection of small prime lenses that can give full frame-like results. Either an X100F/V/VI if you can find one, or like an XE3/4/5 or XM5 with one of their smaller primes. Even the XT30/30II/50 are much smaller th

Advise on the FUJIFILM XE3

I don’t have any issues transferring photos from my xe3 using the Fujifilm Cam Remote app on my iPhone 12 mini. Sometimes it might take a couple of attempts but usually it works fine. I only shoot JPEGs so I don’t know if transferring raws is different. If you’re thinking about the Xpro 3, you shoul

Saran kamera untuk beginner

Fleksibel ke atas atau kebawah? 😂 Anyway, ada dua kubu yang cocok: SONY-Bekas/Secondhand Sepertinya A6300 bekas atau kalau hoki A6400 (much better). Ini biasanya kondisi Body only alias lensanya musti nambah lagi. Kisaran harga 8-10juta SONY-Baru A6000 gw ga rekomendasiin karena udah ketuaan RX100 g

Official Question Thread! Ask /r/photography anything you want to know! March 13, 2026

I've been looking at purchasing a Fujifilm camera recently and I've now came across the Sony ZV-E10 and I'm now completely torn. I was looking at the Fujifilm initially as I like the style and overall look of the Fuji pictures and I can see from the amount of praise they get they're a solid camera.

does such a camera exist?

A fujifilm x-e3, as it has dials for manual control of shutter speed, aperture, iso, exposure compensation. It's also small, so it's great to carry in my pocket, with a second lens in another pocket. I used shoot dslr before that. I still do sometimes, as it is more versatile. But it's bulky. I love

Multiple cameras - what's your rationale?

Three cameras: Canon R5: My "main" camera. Fujifilm X E3: The camera I use when I'm out on social outings or other situations where photography isn't the primary activity. Way smaller and lighter than the R5 and associated lenses. Pentax K1000: Picked up to dabble in film again.

Xe4 vs x100v vs xt30

I love my XE3 and I think it’s still a great value. 24 megapixels is enough, I’ve printed 20x30 photos no problem. And I don’t like the lack of switches on the xe4, in particular they removed the focus mode switch, so you can’t switch between single shot/continuous/manual focus modes without menu di

Which to choose: A6400 vs XE3/4 vs XT30i/ii vs XS10

Skills first, always. A badly composed, poorly exposed shot looks bad whether it came from a Sony with a custom recipe or a Fujifilm with Velvia cranked up. Film simulations are a finishing touch, not a crutch. That said, if you already have solid fundamentals then any of these cameras works fine an
