I wonder too having tested Tidal and the Qobuz on focal alpha 50. It's not the same lossless or I've got a big bias.

I tried on my pc with focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and focal alpha 50 monitors. The difference is there in favor of qobuz. I don't know how but it is. There is even a difference on PC between the focusrite wasapi windows driver and the focusrite asio driver where the latter is way way better in terms of s

zapomniałem dodać jednej, mega istotnej rzeczy: adaptacji akustycznej i samego pomieszczenia. To jest kluczowe. Nie każdy ma możliwość prowadzić studio w domu. Jedni mają domy z poddaszem, a inni mieszkają całe życie w bloku, w małym pokoju z bratem, a obok rodzice — no i wtedy automatycznie masz du

I was running Focal Alpha 50 studio monitors for a while and I remember being amazed at how grating my favorite music could sound. But they could really dig up a lot of detail. Based on the feedback here, Wharfedale Linton are looking like a top choice. The Dynaudio Evoke series sounds really excell

Focal Alpha 50 EVOs. They're about $327 each, if that fits within your budget. Flat frequency response, solid build. I've had the 65s for a couple of years and love 'em. Whatever near fields you choose, consider getting some acoustic panels, too.

Studio monitors are perfect for a dawless jamming setup. I would occasionally hook up my digital piano to the main stereo but after getting into synths and buying studio monitors and a mixer, it's so much better to have dedicated systems. The main stereo for TV and listening to music. The studio mon

You are getting conflicting advice which is probably very irritating haha Ignore the acoustic treatment comment by me earlier, for smaller near field speakers it is not quite so important (although in a dedicated studio room I would always recommend it) and is not practical for you. 4.5" - 6.5" coul

I have Focal Alpha 50 Evo as my main home theatre speakers. Record player, TV, PC, everything sounds wonderful through them.

It’s a mix of price and brand really. I fully expect lower end Mackie, KRK, and PreSonus to have problems and there’s a healthy precedent of reported issues going back over a decade, especially with the Rokits. Earlier A-series ADAM had a bit of a rep, as did the amps on some early Focal monitors. I

I only use audio interfaces for PC use, currently a MOTU Ultralite AVB w/ Focal Alpha 50 Evo monitors. Fully balanced, DC offset, gobs of I/O, better drivers, proper ASIO, more routing flexibility, easier gain staging. Some are obviously better than others, but you get far more for your money in ter
