Kali, Adam and JBL are more "YouTube" recommended brands, Overall if you truly want the best bang for the buck in that Price Range you should check out the Focal Alpha 50/65/80 Evo's, Sound miles ahead of the others despite having barely any marketing behind them to push them forward. I wonder too having tested Tidal and the Qobuz on focal alpha 50. It's not the same lossless or I've got a big bias.

I tried on my pc with focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and focal alpha 50 monitors. The difference is there in favor of qobuz. I don't know how but it is. There is even a difference on PC between the focusrite wasapi windows driver and the focusrite asio driver where the latter is way way better in terms of s

I’ve been through a decent range and have worked with several more monitors. Big piece of advice look for used deals. If you live in a larger city with art college programs you can tend to find a lot come summer as people graduate and sell off stuff. If I could rec some monitors around the $500 rang

Focal Alpha 50 Evo, Kali Audio IN5V2 fit your description. Both significantly better than the KRKs. You don't have to buy room correction capable speakers, you can do that yourself using RoomEqWizard.

I upgraded from the JBL LSR305 on my PC with Kali LP-6, and it's a good upgrade. On my DJ setup, I upgraded from JBL LSR305 + LSR310S to Focal Alpha 50 Evo + LSR310S, which was an excellent upgrade. Go to a store and have a listen to a bunch of monitors before making a decision.

My room is a bit bigger than yours, but overall the dimensions are the same. I have the Focal Alpha 50 Evo, and they're incredibly generous with the room, even without treatment. As I had already read, the sound is very good, little fatigue, yes, they are a bit big, it's something you can find a way

I have 6 systems total. Four in my house, plus one at my dad’s and one at my father-in-law’s. Living room 5.2.2: Canton Karat 300 mains, dual HSU VTF-15H subs, M&K 750C, Polk surrounds, Sonance Atmos, miniDSP Flex HTx + Denon X3700H. Open-plan untreated room but probably my favorite overall. I was running Focal Alpha 50 studio monitors for a while and I remember being amazed at how grating my favorite music could sound. But they could really dig up a lot of detail. Based on the feedback here, Wharfedale Linton are looking like a top choice. The Dynaudio Evoke series sounds really excell
