European brands that disappointed you?

Fjällräven. My old Kånken survived university and years of travel. The replacement I bought last year is already falling apart.

Is owning a Deuter bag in Germany a mandatory requirement for citizenship?

Could also be a Fjällräven Kanken, see them around a lot as well. Pretty expensive for a piece of woven plastic.

European brands that disappointed you?

I've used hiking apparel and packs from a bunch of European-based brands in the past 2.5 decades. Every single pair of Haglöfs hiking pants I've had has outlived every single pair of Fjällräven hiking pants in my use. (good to know, that both brands make their products primarily in the Far East, des

My eyelashes after 5min in -36°C (-33 F) - North Sweden

It's kinda weird since they actually suck compared to good backpacks.. also expensive. Of all the products Fjällräven makes I'd say Kånken is one of the worst. They have amazing backpacker stuff like Kajka and their outdoor stuff is generally top of the line. Kånken just feels cheap..

What am I looking at here?

The real Kånken is made with a 65% polyester, 35% cotton blend which is matte in appearance. This is so shiny you would suspect it's nylon and there is also some PU or vinyl coated stuff in there for some reason. They actually put the reverse side of the fabric on the outside which is pretty funny.

Kånken IS cheap. It’s the fashion garbage that can be pushed by influencers. North Face has a lot of this too. Real Fjällräven is pretty good though, but a bit overpriced.

Is it original? Green and pink Kanken

Don't Reorg and Jahipaun in Tallinn sell real Fjällräven? I haven't been in Estonia since 2018 and this year the closet will be Vilneus or actually Helsinki Airport, where they do have good selection. But I don't know if you fly there. It looks like Jahipaun sell Kånken for €80 I would never by a Fj

Can it be fixed?

Ignore these fools claiming it's not a genuine backpack. They are as qualified as a monkey to see the difference and they hammer you down as soon as anything negative is said about Fjällräven. I have had a similar issue after 6 months and got all my money back for these horrible products. The whole
