This!! I had the same experience. The mess and the retention was a nightmare. When my customers ask for recommendations Fellow opus it's a big nope from me.

Bambino + DF54 - Best bang for my buck first station?

I have a Fellow Opus. I haven’t owned anything else and the coffee is good ish. It makes a mess and grounds build up like crazy. I can’t speak on any other grinder but know you’ll be cleaning that thing twice a week inside and out.
