Need suggestion for grinder to pair with bambino plus [under $200]

Fellow Opus. Baratza ESP also a great option. I’ve had both because I’m sick in the head. Fellow is a little quieter, looks better, but has some grind retention issues that don’t both me but may bother you. I like that the Opus has a timer to stop, so I don’t have to run across my house to stop grin

Electric Conical Burr Grinder for a Beginner [Flexible Budget: $200-900]

the fellow opus gen 2 is a total redesign from the fairly poorly received gen 1 with great espresso capabilities and the grind range to handle all the way to pour over. it doesn't ship till mid May but we have a demo unit at work and it's been really impressive for the price point of $199.

Fellow Opus 2 First Impressions

From a branding/marketing perspective it makes a difficult environment to communicate to customers on what to expect from your products. It also creates a case of customers not trusting more expensive products that you release. It's why companies often create new brands to differentiate their luxury

Grinder question

I would wait for the Fellow Opus 2. I like my Encore ESP, but I love the smaller footprint of the Opus.

Thoughts on the new Fellow Opus Gen 2?

Long time user and fan of fellow products. However, I did not get the opus gen 1. I have a comandante c40 I’m still rocking as my only espresso grinder. I use the ode gen 1 w/gen 2 burrs for filter. But I’m really hoping the taste result on the opus gen 2 will be better than gen 1. I’ve read a lot o

Just to mention, the next generation of Fellow Opus grinder is set to come out in the next few weeks/month-and-a-half. Sounds promising, and starting at US$199.95 (US$50 more for non-black, white versions and with a wood lid). https://www.reddit.com/r/espresso/comments/1s1nmzp/fellow_opus_2_in_the_wild_li

How to avoid overflowing grounds and spilling [Breville Bambino, Fellow Opus, WDT tool, SelfLevel Tamper]

Good advice, thanks. I am using the cup that comes with the Fellow Opus grinder. The mouth actually matches a seals perfectly with the 54mm portafilter. I usually get no spills when transferring. Except the grounds are over the lip of the basket a few mm.

Recs for an electric grinder for filter coffee with a small profile?

That helps immensely. Since you enjoy dark roast filter coffee… I’d highly recommend the Fellow Opus 2 that is just hitting the market. It is supposed to address the retention issues of the original Opus, and was completely redesigned. Many colors, massive burrs, and only $199 USD in black. Small fo
