Eufy security cameras/ doorbell camera connection to unraid
I’ve got 8 Eufy cameras being ingested by the Frigate docker in UnRAID. The important consideration is whether the cameras support a continuous RTSP stream, because if they don’t you’ll only get an intermittent connection. The camera I use are the E340 security floodlight, the C22 and C24 OutdoorCam

Anyone here happy with their setup?
Yep. Working nearly perfectly. Occasional rare missed recording or mis identification. Streaming is quick I get notification within 2-3 seconds and clicking gets me the recording in 3-4 more. I have 1 e340 floodlight and 4 e42 solo cams connected to a HomeBase 3. It identifies all of us in our house

Camera blackouts
My eufy e340 floodlight cam regularly switched off recording and viewing. When it came back it was staring at the wall.. could never watch it for more than 1 minute before it disconnected. On tapo now and its been so amazing in comparison

New Eufy User
I’ve been using Eufy security cameras for the past four years, and I’ve generally been satisfied with their performance. However, there’s a slight delay when I open one of my cameras, but most of the time, the live stream starts without any issues. My biggest concern with Eufy is the delay in alerts

Will Eufy work for me?
The Eufy system can do most of what your asking with one exception. To help keep down on recording the same object twice in a short period they have a default cool down period. You can go into the settings of the cameras and select a custom recording and cool down period. The minimum cool down perio

Google to Eufy
I agree with all your comments, I have two s230 cameras and as an event monitoring system they are great, but I’m upgrading one to a floodlight cam e340 wired so I can have constant live feed and 24/7 monitoring. Sticking with Eufy.
