If you don’t want any missed events, I cannot recommend a battery powered camera. If you have an outside floodlight or lamp, there are options to replace them with a floodlight/camera combination. I had to go the route of unplugging the HB3 antennas and wrap it in tinfoil. If any of my cameras got the SLIGHTEST whiff of that 2.4ghz HB3 network, they would drop from the "Bridge" network they were connected too. My driveway camera was the biggest culprit of this, it's on the front of the house

Ingenic T40. I have a few of them in service for over 2yrs, no real issues as long as you can maintain a solid wifi connection with minimal channel interference from neighbours. I'm guessing the Wifi chip is pretty weak, it's an AIC8800D80 and I had more connection issues with it vs the old 2K flood

Love my Eufy floodlight cams hardwired, doorbell, door locks. No homebase, just use the app. No complaints here. All on my mesh network.

I don't have the S3 Pro. I do have 5 eufy cameras and the Homebase3. I have the e340 doorbell, an inside pan and tilt cam, and 2 e340 floodlight cams and another floodlight camera can't remember the model . It all works great for me. I have a good wifi mesh setup. I just replaced all my Ring cameras

I live on 5 acres that’s fenced & gated & felt the need for security on our compound. 1st off I would get your gate operational. You need “layers of protection” starting around your perimeter. If Gate is solar it’s panel is charging a battery & that battery probably needs to be replaced & solar pane

Yeah I feared that was the one. Won't be getting that then since it doesn't support hb. I'm hoping they make a floodlight version of that new s4 cam. I have the first gen eufy floodlight so I want to upgrade but not to the one you said for that reason.
