First Printer, Halot X1 Combo....Regret?
The best printer is the one that you have and makes models for you. We're kinda cursed nowadays with the wonderful array of options and like you, I was a bit obsessed with choosing "the best one" Seriously, they're all pretty much the same in core functionality and they'll all delight and frustrate

First resin printer
Pretty much this. The Saturn 3 gives you the best machine to learn on while giving you exactly the top resolution you want to print with. Plus the build plate size is what you eventually want to get once you're done with any Mars-level printer. The Mars just end up being too small in the long run. T

Saturn 3 Ultra in 2026?
Tbh if you can afford it, just get the Saturn 4 Ultra. I have the 3 ultra, great machine don't get me wrong, but you wont have any more firmware update, mine stopped connecting to Wifi and Elegoo told me "Well good luck friend" and parts are getting hard to get your hands on (screens, vat...), so ju

First 3D Printer for 1:24 Miniatures – Is the Phrozen Mini 8K S the Right Choice?
Saturn 3 non-Ultra. 19x24um pixel, close to the 22um pixel of a Mini 8K S. Much better UV uniformity, full PWM UV control (Mini 8K S doesn't have that). Moddable gcode. Full wait time support (Mini 8K S doesn't respect wait time after print). Adjustable Z axis offset (or use my leveling method to el

Need help choosing between the two. Want to print big stuff, but also minis and not lose a lot of detail. Which would you recommend? Sonic Mega 8ks? Or Photon mono m7 Max?
I just bought my second resin printer today. Went with the Saturn 3 Ultra for a number of reasons. First of all its tried and tested. Same quality prints, its got fewer of the new fancy parts that always seem to have issues. And just overall buck for bang. Its on sale rn on elegoos site for 285$ whi

I build an iOS app like ChituManager
Hi! The app is still working, and I’m still developing new features for it (including Canvas support for the CC1).Is the Mars 4 Ultra connecting to the app? As far as I remember (sorry, I don’t use the Mars 4 Ultra anymore), both the Mars 4 Ultra and the Saturn 3 Ultra don’t allow browsing files or

Voron parts printed on ABS LIKE RESIN
That's interesting, thank you for sharing! I hadn't found that project yet. Yes, I also want it to just work! My main complaints are that it doesn't just work, and klipper + orca just work. It took a bit to get my calibrations from SuperSlic3r transferred over, and I'm not yet used to the UI, but fo

Sharing a great prints with Chitu Systems Conjure Resin
Looks great 👍🏻. Conjure Sculp is the best but if you open a bottle and top it up with Elegoo 8k abs space grey dammmmn it's impressive that's what I use on my commission prices. If you want even crazier details try there Beige with a little red clay the Beige has way more ceramic pigment so zero bloo

Why did my build turn out like this
What resin are you using? My settings on my Saturn 3 ultras are as follows. Bottom exposure 30s Normal exposure 1.4 to 1.8s depending on the resin Normal lift height 1mm + 2mm (that's what cuts your print time down to nothing not lift speed, you can go from 120mm to 240mm normal lift speed and it on

New to resin printing, what's causing these print fails
Saturn 3 ultra, normal exposure 1.2s, normal lift speed 180mm, normal lift height 1mm + 2mm, print time 3hrs and 33min at 30um layer height! My prints fall away from the supports leaving almost zero trace, so almost no sanding hardly any cleaning up required just print and paint. Light support conta
