I am wondering whether FDM printing can give me a similar result
No FDM printer can produce miniatures as good as a modern 8 to 12k SLA printer! If you buy a really expensive high quality FDM printer like bamboo or Prusha and you use a .2 nozzle and a 0.2 to 0.3 layer height you can get close SLA but under magnification you will CLEARLY see a difference.. Most reliable printer
Have been printing on Elegoo for quite some time. Started with the Mars 2, Mars 4 and then Saturn 3 ultra ( which was the only one that didn't work right out of the box, but Elegoo fixed it ) and now a Saturn 4 Ultra. Haven't had any other problems with all of these printers except for the 3 Ultra,

Do you still need to set wait before/after print times on the photon?
Photon Workshop supports transition and light off delay. I always use some level of delay, depending on the viscosity of resins, as well as ambient temperature. You will also get significantly faster print times using the Photon Workshop settings over Chitu, I haven't got down to exactly why but as
