Just got my neptune 4 max, any tips before I start using it?

Hey u/NeiaLancia , Congrats on your new 3d printer! Longtime Elegoo Neptune 4 Max owner here, that was the first printer I owned and started on and absolutely love it. I have over 1500 hours printing on it now and she still works like new. Just a few pieces of advice 3d Printing is a continuous lear

Guys i need help, serious help

Max bed temp on a neptune 4 max is 85c, im shocked you are even getting it up to 100c. Not to mention you need an enclosure and you want the chamber temp to be about 45-50c.

Roller wheels fraying

u/Fioricascastle this is normal for the Neptune 4 Max. I have over 1500 printing hours with mine, this is what mine look like after just cleaning the chassis the weekend previously. So long as the bed is not wobbly and is freely moving, there will be some POM dust generated during prints. When they

Bought Used CC in “good” condition. Used 400h

I got a neptune 4 max about a month ago. After 2 small prints, I went all in and printed a prototype xbox shell. 190 hours. The amount of rubber dust from the bed was insane, but its broken in now haha.

Black Dust/Residue after the print

Hey dude - 1st, chill out, you're on the internet and people who are asking real questions are getting real answers from real people like myself. Believe whatever you'd like but I don't use AI or bots to come up with my answers, I simply answered from a mobile device and yes - there can be issues in

SV08 Max questions

I own one. Out of the following brands ive bought. Bambu, flsun, elegoo, anycubic, and sovol. Sovol is the 2nd best imo. It does have vfas though. Im not a huge tuner and cant tell you if it van be tuned out easily. But part quality pit of the box is pretty good. This is compared to an elegoo neptun

SV08Max vs Neptune 4 Max?

Neptune 4 Max needs just a replacement of springs with silicone spacers and proper frame adjustment (plus knowledge that the induction sensor is not compensated). Nothing else needs to be done to this printer to work reliably with PLA (maybe adding a little loctite and biweekly cleaning and lubricat

SV08Max vs Neptune 4 Max?

I am (or better, was) in the same boat as you. I bought the N4 max in Dec 23 as an upgrade for my Kobra 1 Max. It took a lot of tuning and tinkering to get parts to even print, not even reliably, let alone good looking ones. To be fair it was my first klipper printer, but with the box standard POM w

Print head making awful grinding noise when accelerating

The Max are pretty rough, I’ve tested like 4 of them. The smaller ones may be ok but you might need to tinker with it. I’m currently using the Neptune 4 Max (ELEGOO replace my N3 max with an n4 max) and there’s like a whole website dedicated to tinkering with it out of the box (neptune4.help) I’ve a

It may be kinda slow, but man is it cool watching it make two pieces at once!

I use vision minner nano polymer. Goes on like water and drugs instantly leaves no mark on your print and where you put it off your printing pla you can print there a crap load of times without reapplying. When you print huge crap on sv08 max and Neptune 4 max the second one do not buy the Neptune s
