I've 2 installed. One three years, one 1 year. I'm nowhere near a coastal area, and one has corroded like it's been in a saltwater bath. The newer one is starting to corrode too. They occasionally just go offline despite my house being timber frame and having 4x Eero 6+ units casting one hell of a s

Youfibre 2000 upgrade questions
That was my thought. They might be best off upgrading, and buying their own higher spec eero router and using the 6+ as the extra APs. Like, do you NEED 2Gig at the end of your garden, or out on the main road. Make the most of 2Gig in the core area, then be happy with the 1.2 or so that the mesh ach

Ebox and IPTV
I use a VPN with my IPTV provider, always have. No issues with EBOX. Using 3 x Eero 6+, wired back haul meshed. Perfect.

Looking for extender recommendation
I bought the eero 6+ back in 2024 and has been great for fixing all the dead zones I had with my security cameras (blink). The only issue I had was an update in 2025 that made wifi a bit unstable but a quick update/rollback I think fixed it. Other than that, its been great. Prior to eero, I had used

Upgrading Wi-Fi for 80sqm EU apartment with concrete walls - WiFi 7 worth it at €300 or go proven WiFi 6?

The trick to beating the backhaul problem is to place the units strategically where the signal is still

PC wifi being at two bars
Consider getting a Mesh Net system like the Eero 6+ or better to extend your wi-fi throughout the residence. It’s not uncommon for various materials to interfere with the signals bouncing around the living spaces. Other than that, there are apps that can help you fine tune the position your PC or an

New customer, hating it so far. Need answers
Got 500MBPS. I bought a Tenda 5 port unmanaged switch on Amazon for $10 (still available)...Used to connect all my wired devices. The Eero works fine, but I purchased 2 more on Amazon due to size of my house. I have multiple ROKU TVs, PCs, Smart cameras, switches, door opener, Dog fence all on WiFi.
