Right now, I still have the Ecovacs X2 Omni; it's a piece of work, but I'll repair it to the end. Ecovacs support is very bad, too. The camera stopped working, so I sent it for repair under warranty. They told me it was a Chinese model? It's from Europe, but never mind. They sent it back and charged

There seem to be more reports of poor mapping, navigation, and app performance with Ecovacs. It hasn't always been this way; a lot of the problems seemed to start with the X2 Omni. This gets compounded with poor support, but that problem isn't unique to Ecovacs. The difference with Roborock may be s

I have two Ecovacs X2 Omnis. I bought the second one about 6 months after the first one because it worked so well for us. We have mostly tile floors in our 4000 sq ft home of two floors (1 bot per floor) with a few area rugs and the cleaning and especially mopping has been amazing for us. We don’t h

Worst product and customer service I’ve ever experienced. I bought the Ecovacs Omni X2, and it stopped working after just 6 months. Since then, it’s been nothing but a nightmare. After three failed repairs and another 6 months, I still don’t have a working robot. Their customer service is appalling

Just saying depends on which ecovacs model you have, reliability is very different. My old X1 Omni Australian version has been somewhat funny but X2 Omni has been rock solid. I actually have 2 X2 Omni and they are both super reliable. I also had 3 Omni X1 for commercial use but they’re more suited f

Solid pick for hardwood + a rug. Dock’s a bit deep, software has lots of customization (and occasional mapping quirks), and you can turn off obstacle photos if the camera’s a concern. Alternatives in this price range: Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, Ecovacs X2 Omni.

Ok cool. As long as it is cosmetic, I can deal with that. Also enjoying the Tapo Ecosystem, using a RV30 since June2024 and supper happy with it.Used an Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni for just under 6 months now, and the one mopping plate kept falling out. Considering to buy a RV50 now.

I also noticed the quantity and colour of the dirty water was less than my previous Ecovacs (X2 Omni). However, I've been using it daily for about a month to mop ~600 sq ft of tiles, and my theory is that the majority of the dirt and grime that would normally get washed and passed to the dirty water
