Well. That was interesting. I do really like my job, though! I get to draw and stim, and I can still do my job well!

A huge part of hydration is consistent intake as well as electrolyte balance. If you weren't consistently drinking plenty of water the two days previous, you're not going to be as well hydrated as you might expect when drinking a gallon today. You also need to have electrolytes to help the water go

Feel very full after small meals - just dehydrated or something to talk to a doctor about?

i can’t speak for you of course, but after i got my ileostomy, my appetite and even the way i feel hunger changed. it could just be a “normal” thing for your body to do after having half its digestive system cut off. i would worry if you start experiencing any other symptoms such as uncontrollable n

My body is kinda fighting me sometimes.

I had a few kids like this last year in my own band (I am a director). A few of the things I can suggest are making sure you are drinking a CRAP-TON on water (and electrolyte drinks - drip drop is a little spendy, but worth it) for the 48+ hours before a rehearsal (rehearsal every day = water / elec

Nurse just scared the *cough* out of me telling me about the prep for my colonoscopy

For my most recent colonoscopy, I was prescribed Golytely (polyethylene glycol 3350 and electrolytes). I took one whiff of the flavor packet and dumped it. I used my own Drip Drop electrolyte powder to flavor it, and I was able to get it down without much trouble. I did need to rinse my mouth out ev

Tips for getting over a plateau

Well you're lucky to not have the PCOS!😝🙃 YEAH I've got T12 thru S1 herniations, Stinosis, degenerative disc disease, fibromialgia and the list continues with the back, and all that jazz. So I can only speak for me, but my back pain unfortunately designates what I can or can't do in a day. I did pla

Rehydration recipe - since a lot of viruses are going around now

For no reason, other than the fact that I’ve personally had great success with it, I’m promoting drip drop. Packet in a bottle of water, I think it says eight or so ounces of water so I don’t always have a full bottle of water when I put it in, and then shake shake and shake some more. And one other

Is this fibro fatigue??

Yes, for us fibromyalgia warriors, when we get sick, it seems to linger longer than it's supposed to, but I can suggest echinacea tea, lots of sleep, drink a lot of water, and some electrolytes. You could be dehydrated too, not Gatorade because it has too much salt. Drip drop or liquid IV and some c

What electrolytes do you recommend for cycling?

Drip-Drop is the best I've tried. There are others made to the WHO standard for oral rehydration solutions (ORS). Nothing magical, just the optimal amount of electrolytes and sugar to aid quick absorption. You could blend your own from separate ingredients. Just check the WHO website standard for th

Electrolytes???

So not all have the same levels of required minerals such as sodium, potassium, magnesium something I learnt way later in life than I should have. Usually electrolytes help with muscles and nerves, and is not needed daily if you ain't sweating a lot. It's only noticeable when low levels cause cramps
