More like, "a picture is worth 1000 lies." I went from QD-OLED (Alienware AW3423DW) to IPS black (Dell U4025QW), and the difference in everyday use is so small as to be unnoticeable. Photos exaggerate the IPS glow to a ridiculous degree. It's nothing like how human eyes perceive it.

Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor - U4025QW This is a really nice monitor 5k2k ultra wide that works perfectly with a Mac (M2 MacBook Pro here) and has things like 2.5G Ethernet and can daisy chain another display (I use that to connect my Apple Studio Display)

I have a 40” ultrawide dell u4025qw and it’s fantastic. You can easily have 2-3 excel windows open. I don’t think I’ve ever actually needed to have 1 excel window maximized. The monitor can also create multiple virtual monitors (so your computer sees your ultrawide as 2x monitors instead.

Got tired of waiting, scooped up an open box Dell U4025QW ultra-wide and been delighted by it. 5K, 120hz, speakers aren't on par with Studio Display but perfectly acceptable.

Yep, same. I went through a few 49" ultrawides, then landed on a 38" Alienware. The extra vertical space made a huge difference. Now I'm on a Dell u4025qw ( 40" 5k2k) and it's pretty much the perfect monitor for me. I can't believe how much I love working on this thing.

I mean, you left off the obvious option. The Mac Studio Display. But I chose the Dell u4025qw over it and don’t have any regrets. The text is sharp. I needed the built-in kvm, and 27-inches is pretty small these days. However, I bought my u4025qw before the asus 27-in 5k and 32-in 6k hit the market.

I love my Dell U4025QW. Its predecessor and little brother. It’s surprisingly compatible with macOS too, the display brightness and audio Fn keys work with a little utility, which is unusual for PC monitors.

Dell u4025qw. It is great, has an integrated dock station, 120hz, extra vertical space for more code lines yay! With power toys I defined 3 areas: left side 1/4 width for help manuals, internet..: center 2/4 for the code I am working with, 1/4 at right for time tracking, other parts of the code… And

I just got a Dell U4025QW and I adore it. Depends on you though, 140ppi is fine and perfectly sharp for me and how close I sit at it. Good speakers, thunderbolt hub as well. Edit:saw the price req, its spendy but B&H has had it as low as 1400 (how much I paid)

Pretty sure what you want does not exist, you'd have to go for VA or OLED. Unfortunately there are only very few 5120x2160 monitors (5k2k) in general. There is a VA variant with a 1000R curve, the Samsung G75F. What you found with 2500R is probably the Dell U4025QW and the equivalent LG models. Apar
