Hey. I have U3225QE's and a HP G1a with Strix Point CPU. My experience, some of which I detailed on USB-C subreddid posts was: The monitor connects only for power via TB4 ports (the HP laptop does in fact have TB4-certified USB4 ports from the AMD CPU). No TB3 or USB4 connection is made. Using the o

Apple displays set a high bar for colour accuracy and consistency across the panel. The LG Ultrafine is the same panel as the 5K iMac I believe, but only available second hand. Unfortunately, 5K just never went mainstream like 4K did. If you like the Apple 27” display, why not just get another? If 2

There are many recommendations and videos out there comparing retina display on an iMac and other big brand monitors e.g Benq, Dell, Asus etc. Nothing will ever come close to the Apple displays when it comes to brightness and text clarity. I sold off my 2020 iMac and replaced it with a M4 Mac Mini i

I haven't used the Dell Ultrasharp u2725QE personally, so I can't say for sure. But I'm coming from an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020), which had a glossy display. In comparison, it does feel a tad bit different, but nothing that'll take too long to get used to tbh. Personally, I'd say go with the B

Take a look at the dell U2725qe… Its got 120hz refresh rate so depending on the type of games you play it may be enough. Downsides for gaming- is that it has an 8ms response time and no freesync Also people have noted a background coiling sound too

I wanted to get AW2725D. It was on sale for $475 yesterday. After some research, I found that for reading pdf books, coding, productivity (80% of my usage) a QD-OLED is not good. Apparently, the text is not sharp and there is possibility of burn in. I really want good black levels for watching movie

Did you ever figure this out? I've also just bought a Dell U2725QE and have the same problem (I've got a 9070XT though) No combination of cable, output port (DP or USB-C), refresh rate or monitor setting seems to work.

This is well-know issue with Dell, especially their U2725QE. Btw., I have their older U3223QE (no coil whine noise) and like it a lot. After researching a new monitor for my daughter, I found many buyers/users reporting this noise issue on Amazon. I started digging and found the noise problem being

Thanks for the helpful review. I'm thinking about buying this monitor and return the dell ultrasharp u2725qe because of annoying coil whine in standby, unstable design and the hard to reach joystick on the back. On the other side I like being able to connect my surface pro only via thunderbolt 4 ach
