I recently upgraded to a Mac Studio M3 Ultra (binned) / 2 TB, and here’s the multi-display setup that has been working really well for editing and research:
Displays • ASUS ProArt OLED PA32UCDM — 32", 4K 240 Hz. Main grading/playback display. • 2× Dell S2725QS — 27", vertical 120 Hz. Timelines, sco

27” 4k monitor seems to be the winning combo around here. Look for deals on the Dell 27 Plus S2725QS. MicroCenter was selling them for $200 around thanksgiving.

The Dell S2725QC is better because it connects using USB-C and also includes a USB hub with 2 USB-A ports and 1 USB-C port to connect your devices. I bought 2 of them last year for my Mac mini and they're great! The Dell S2725QS is a good cheaper option but it doesn't have a USB hub and no USB-C sup

Good list, but the S2719QS is way outdated, Dell now sells the S2725QS for $299 and it’s 4K, 120Hz, and an early IPS Black (so high contrast). It’s not amazing for gaming, but it is a great deal, and it is certainly the best cheap 4K monitor on the market. I would also completely take out the LG opt

4K IPS 100% • Dell S2725QS (Most recommended option + a ton of reviews) $280 • Dell S2725QC (Updated version ) $330 • Asus ProArt PA279CRV (Professional graded monitor + 3 yr warranty) $350 If accuracy & longevity is the ultimate goal. Definitely one of these. If you want to do slight gaming as well

I did the exact same transition after 25 years, 3 iMacs. Have pretty much the same use case. Spent so much time debating what monitor to get and how big a step back it would be. Got the M4, 24 GB, 512 GB, got two 27” Dell S2725QS’s, used better display and it has been absolutely fantastic.no regrets

I'm purchasing a monitor setup for a home office. I'm primarily looking at text for document editing/review, email, video calls, etc. I'm upgrading from a 27" 1080p screen, which is horribly grainy.
I'm looking to get two 4k monitors and am currently between Dell's S2725QS (240USD) and U2725QE (630
