What’s the best monitor for programmers in 2026?
For coding specifically, go 27" 4K IPS. The text rendering at that size and resolution is perfect for staring at code all day. Anything smaller than 27" at 4K and you're squinting, anything bigger and you need to sit further back. The Dell S2722QC is the go-to under $500 rec. USB-C with 65W charging

Is there a way to disable this timer? Maybe a plugin of some sort or anything like that?
Dell S2722QC which is not a gaming monitor. I need 4k for work purposes, so went with the cheapest option.

Koje monitore koristite za programiranje?
Dell s2722QC ips koristim vec par godina i jako sam zadovoljan. To je bio najjeftiniji monitor koji sam uspeo da nadjem a da je 27” 4k i da ima mogucnost povezivanja sa racunarom preko usb C. Koristio sam ga za macbook i windows laptop. Ujedno ih i puni dok su povezani.

M4 delivered today. Best monitor for a $500 budget?
I’m happy with the Dell S2722QC. 4k, USB-C, HDMI, built in USB hub. Autoswitches between input ports, which s great for my 2 CPU setup. Price seems to float between 279 and 315 @ bestbuy.

Review my Office (productivity) pc build (GPU needed for fusion 360 and cad work)
Can switch to 7600 it will run cooler for not much of a performance difference, invest more in a higher capacity drive, change the monitor to a Dell S2722QC if budget allows... if the rig is not meant gaming and just office work, the 4k display is phenomenal and will fair better for your needs. Any tips on improving it? I can't decide where should I place my macbook so it looks cleaner. I'm a designer and it's always "it ain't enough" :)
It's a Dell S2722QC, perfect budget monitor really - 4K, HDR, 60Hz (can't get more on a budget 4K).

Mac mini with a non Mac display?
Yes pretty much any 4K display will work great just run at "half resolution" https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dell-S2722QC-3840x2160-FreeSync-Speakers/dp/B09CGY99X5 Example But if you want to do video as well will need to add a camera https://www.logitech.com/en-gb/discover/c/webcams

Anyone work with just 1 screen?
I got a refurbished Dell S2722QC 27" 4K USB-C Monitor 210-BBRQ for £210 from a place called itcsales.co.uk and it’s perfect. Not sure which country you’re in but there will be certified resellers offering great deals on second hand tech which is as good as new.

(Another) Monitor thread
I'm really happy with the Dell S2725QC that I just received! It's still so new that there aren't many reviews, but it works great on a Mac. The 120 Hz, the Variable Refresh Rate, the USB-C hub and charging, it doesn't flicker like the past S2722QC edition. Basically everything just worked as intende
