PC Recommendations for GSEC and GCIH

Easy travel, but not a laptop? I'm a proponent of used Dell Precision 5550/5540. They are sturdy and upgradable and having a 15 inch screen helps to see your vm and your notes. I picked up my 5550 with an i9, 32gb ram and a dedicated gpu for $400 when I started the BACS program. I swapped the batter

Dell Precision 5550 is the best Laptop I’ve ever own

i got my dell precision 5550 around 2 years ago for ~$600, with the tricked out t2000 i9 and 4k touch, i think it's a late 2020 model so it's bios still hasent matured. I had quite a few problems before i updated the bios with it not charging, but now it charges regularly. I am a student and it's be

Laptop

Don’t think Apple makes a laptop with native touch, so not ideal for lights in my opinion. I also prefer windows interface for nitty gritty technical things (think PowerTools, Wireshark, scripts to change your IP for touring venues). I had a DELL XPS which I can’t recommend as it was too slow and wi

Arvutid (palun soovitusi)

Need help to choose a laptop

Because, well, I know, off topic, but trying to help a student. I think the student part is important. A student needs a box that will be both a development workstation and a general use box. Linux is a bit harder to use as a general box, but definitely can work, while Mac's Unix heritage helps with

Finally got it.

I not so much in dell side. But I love Dell Precision 5550 - 5570, XPS 9500 - 9520. And screens are the best evere and speakers ar very near to Apple level. Keyboard isn't good as Thinkpads.

Dell precision 5550

The dell precision 5550 is actually an excellent choice for engineering because of the specs, the gorgeous screen and a very good build quality. Plus the ram is upgradable up to 64gb ram and theres 2 nvme slots for ssd.
