This is an incredibly timely post since I am also looking for a monitor to connect to a new Mac mini. My dilemma is I want to first test it out as a secondary monitor on an old iMac and the iMac only has DisplayPort output. Which is compatible with HDMI input but only at 30 Hz reliably apparently. s

Can't go wrong with a Dell P-series which is called Pro Plus nowadays I think. It may still be labeled as P2725QE. However, worth noting that the previous-gen Ultrasharp is around the same price (U2723QE) --> Note the number/year 23
