For 32" the Dell S3225QC for $649 I personally use 2 27" Dell S2725QC for my Mac mini and it works great with USB-C and they're only $315

Dang, found this post 2 years later and my new Dell S3225QC does the same thing with my macbook pro. I bought it from costco and they sent me a replacement monitor... does the same thing. After reading this post, I plugged in my macbook charger in addition to the USB-C PD and it went away. It's real

I switched from the MSI 271QPX E2 (1440p) to the Dell S3225QC because the text/fringing on the MSI was pretty bad for non-gaming scenarios. I don’t see it at all on the Dell unless I get close, which you wouldn’t do on a 32in 4K (I sit ~ 26-28in away). Scaling is at 125% but had similar results with
