What "Silly" thing did you buy after getting your first house

OT…Not super fancy, but we highly enjoy our DeLonghi Magnifica Plus. It’s a full auto though, but as time’s passed I actually don’t mind that anymore.

Wth Ziggi's? Every time I ask for light ice and every time this happens. I'm done.

I used to buy coffee there. Way too much money in the long run. Bought a DeLonghi Magnifica Plus super automatic, and it makes all kinds of drinks. Got it on sale for $599.00, or, 1/3 of a year of going to Ziggi's

Starbucks CEO defends $9 coffee says ‘it’s not a $10 coffee and you get a premium experience’

I got myself a DeLonghi Magnifica Plus, Lavazza Super Crema beans and Monin Madagascar vanilla syrup. My lattes taste exactly like Starbucks but are a fraction of the price. My only complaint is that my machine doesn't quite get the water as hot as I'd like so I pre-warm the mugs with boiling water.

What’s a buy it for life’ item that is offensively expensive, but the moment you use it, you realize your entire life before that point was a lie?

I totally agree. We have the De'Longhi Magnifica Plus Fully Automatic Espresso Machine. I do not know how many years it will last though. We have been using our daily for almost 2 years and no problems. Easy to clean and has already paid for itself after one year of use. We were spending too much on

'We can't justify a £52 lunch': Middle-income families cut back on fun as prices rise

Starbucks is £6.35!!!!!!), the prices are ridiculous for what you actually get. I used to buy one daily but at current prices it was no longer a treat. I did some research and decided to buy a refurbished (as good as new) DeLonghi Magnifica Plus from their own eBay page, a bag of Lavazza Super Crema

What ‘treat’ would you spend €500 on?

I bought a De Longhi magnifica plus coffee machine last week and its worth every cent . Choice of about 9 different types of coffees. Like haven't a personal batista at home .

Worth upgrading to Sage Barista Pro?

The new higher end DeLonghi machines like the Magnifica Plus can actually get very close to a semi-automatic machine. Not quite as good but certainly close enough. Here's a comparison with the Dinamica Plus. https://youtu.be/wL3dPH2HrUw?si=S2EfL2aOcTzfeHeg
