Samsung's new breakthrough NAND flash storage uses 96% less power, more details at CES 2026
They already did. Early Crucial T700 was on a 12nm node. New Samsung 911 Pro is on a 5nm node. It already runs much cooler.

Would love your thoughts on 6k+ AUD Work & Gaming PC build
Some suggestions to provide you significantly more storage (using a better spec drive), along with some other changes, for slightly less cost. For quiet operation, it's essential to set custom fan curves on the AIO fans, case fans, and GPU fans. Motherboard: Unless the X870E chipset motherboard has

First bulid ever , are those parts good?
Not too bad, that cpu is overkill if your main priority is gaming. Most games will use 4-6 cores so having a cpu with 16 cores is unnecessary so stick with the 9800x3d or a 7800x3d. The nzxt kraken elite is a shit AIO compared to other AIOs. Consider the corsair titan rx, arctic liquid freezer iii,

First time building a PC, looking for a sanity check
The 9600X is a generation newer and a minor price increaae. Great cooling doesn't have to be expensive Saved a bit on a still good motherboadd I went with a single 16GB stick instead of 2x8GB. The performance loss isn't as big as with DDR4, and will make future upgrades easier The SSD in your list i

SSD nvme not showing up?
BTW, if you go to: https://www.crucial.com/ssd/t705/ct4000t705ssd5# And put in MSI, MSI Motherboard and B850 Gaming Plus WiFi. It says it's not compatible. The MSI site for your motherboard, also doesn't list the T705 as compatible. Only the T700. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B850-GAMING-PLUS-WIF

need help choosing ssd for existing build
Of the three you list, the T700 is the fastest. However, for about the same price, the T710 is even faster. That mb has four m.2 SSD slots. The primary slot (M2A_CPU) will run at PCIe 5.0 x4 speed, regardless of what other peripherals you’re using. Similarly, the 3rd and 4th slots (M2C_SB & M2D_SB) wi

Is it worth it?
I have an SER8 which is Ryzen 7 (8845HS) with Radeon 780m graphics. The SER9's CPU is similar, but newer architecture, and has a better GPU. Mine is also 32GB and 1TB. One thing I don't like about this SER9 is that it lists LPDDR5 RAM; I would prefer socketed SODIMM that can be replaced or upgraded

Beelink SER8 pros and cons
I've had my SER8 for about a year -- it's a great machine. Quiet, runs cool and fast. The only downside has been the wifi due to the metal case. It's not horrible, but our 600 mbps connection would only provide around 300-400 mbps (still more than we need for daily usage). I did request the wifi "up
