Snagged one! 50 bucks cheaper than the crucial P310, and neither have DRAM but this one only uses TLC instead of QLC. Time to return the P310 this week

For those deciding whether to get the rog ally X or XBox ally X. Just get the XAX.
I tried a few games. Resident evil 2 remake, NBA 2k23, doom 2016. The OG ally X loads games faster. But slightly. 2-3 seconds difference. On the XAX I'm using a budget 4tb SSD(crucial p310). So maybe that has something to do with it?? But overall... The difference is negligible

One year with FriendlyElec CM3588
CM3588 is great, especially power consumption. I run OMV with EXT4, mergerfs and 8 containers) 3.23 watts on idle with 4x4tb Crucial P310 and around 5-6 watts under samba load . Originally, I purchased 4 x 4tb WD SN5000, TDP was 8-10 watts on idle, drives were hot all the time (min 48C) and CPU temp
