Do you still consider prusa printers to be competitive in today's market

Everyone saying the sky is falling here is wrong. Prusa isn’t failing, and Bambu definitely isn’t. You have companies like Qidi shipping units that are literally broken, having customers as beta testers. Creality has an insane amount of printers that are all basically the same thing before support i

Can I turn off the cutesy messages?

Oh good. That way you can walk up to a Creality K2 Plus and it'll greet you with failed prints instead.

I can't justify prusa price but hate all alternatives

I has the same feeling when I went shopping for a large format printer. I ended up buying the Creality K2 Plus. Now I deal with the following issues, and in retrospect why I routinely see this printer for sale at a steep discount on Facebook marketplace. Routine poop chute clogging which causes mult

K2 Pro with CFS vs other options in this range, which direction makes more sense?

My first core xy printer was the Creality K2 plus. I put 3k hours on it before I sold it but in comparison to the printers I got afterwards it was the worst experience. I had to deal with Crealitys warranty dept numerous times and it was a horrible experience. The quality of my prints with it were o

Wife wants me to throw out the K1max and buy a Bambu. I'm out of ideas, please help me

I have the k1 Max for over a year and a half and been running like a champ, only issue I’ve ran into is heat creep with PLA (fix is a lid lift) and had some old or poor filament that could never get to print. I’ve also upgrade the thermistor to a PT1000 to reach hotend temps at 350c to start printin

FYI: ordering parts direct from Creality is awful, and getting worse.

The biggest weakness of Creality right now is not always the hardware itself, but logistics, spare part availability and regional support consistency. I really like my Creality machines, but I also understand your frustration because I experienced similar things with K2 Plus support and spare parts.

Disappointed in my experience with BambuLab so far

Sorry to hear that. A printer arriving with a non-working AMS is frustrating enough, but for a small business every day of downtime costs money. This is also a good reminder that no manufacturer is immune to quality control issues. People often talk as if Bambu printers never have problems, but ever

Seeking advice: Budget Enclosed CoreXY vs. Modding SV06 Plus vs. High-end K2 Plus

K2 Plus is horrible and it doesn't seem like you need the large bed or multicolor system. For your use case go high quality with a smaller bed and your premiums to look at are the Bambu X2D, heated chamber, reliable, appliance like, second nozzle can be for support material and could always add an A

I absolutely HATE my Creality K1 Max.

I can see why you have frustrations. Both my K1M’s had 2k+ print hours before I started modding them. Tuning took a while on them before modding, but once dialed in - print results were great. Modding is a black hole that I may never climb out of - I’ve tried 6-7 different hotends, BCJ linear rail s
