Does anyone know how much the new features diverge from OrcaSlicer? u/Creality_3D don't lock your printers, give us true open source! That's the only reason i'm not going to Bambu. I was about to buy ANOTHER K1C (2025 Edition this time) just to find out you locked the printer hand you have binary bl

Download and install Creality Print. It's the software you use to prepare ("slice") and upload a file to your printer for printing. Assuming that you did the setup for your printer correctly, it should now be on your wifi network. You should then be able to find it from the Creality Print software a

I just went through all these same issues with my k1 max upgrade. So many small changes needed from ptfe tube, orca slicer printer codes, new cfs extruder and cut module, and cfs feeder/splicer jamming and feeding wrong. Finally still working 80% of the time with Minor ghost feeding and retracting w

I can't confirm whether or not this is the cause of the problem as I am not about to disassemble my K1C. From a printer-mechanic point of view, this does not make a whole lot of sense. A wobbly bushing on the second gantry rod should not cause dimensional inaccuracies. If it were a fault (and not de

The k2 was designed with multimaterial in mind, it functions far better as a whole than either of crealitys attempts at cfs and cfs-c The K1 makes a larger purge tower with the cfs-c to compensate for the lack of a poop chute

Creality just need to give us root access because they don't what they are doing with the cfs-c and their customer service don't even know that the cfs-c is compatible with all k1 as long they have the the unicorn nozzle print head.

My first printer was a creality k1 that in the entire time i owned it I had two issues that needed fixing. It's kind of worrying that people just accept this level of failures as normal after paying several hundred dollars for these. That goes for any brand. I can't even get responses to open ticket

I hate to say "lemon" because there are so many things that can go wrong with a printer and you just have to "fix it". I feel for Creality as 3d printing is still somewhat of an art. Temperatures, flow rates, speed. If I had not had a K1C for over a year and learned quite a bit about 3d printing alr

I changed and updated my extruder to good gears and all that on my k1c and this is what I've found with certain filaments like petg and exocit pla, you have to do lid open printing, is the short answer. When printing fully enclosed the machine heatsyncs, extruder gears warm up, and instead of grabbi

no, at least not for most people. the issue is a combination of uneven thermal expansion because the middle of the bed is hotter, and internal strain in the rolled aluminum bed. Actually good beds are made of 8mm thick cast aluminum that expands uniformly. This bed is made of rolled 3mm aluminum and
