Look at creality K1’s , open source, quite a good community, lots of mods to make it evolve … Ender 3s like the V2 are also really good, but more for the enthusiasts / thinkers out there, the community is huge, the mod list is literally endless , it’s open source so there is that , but it’s less « p

I would check out FranklyBuilts YouTube channel. He does a lot of reviews on printers and talks about the pros and cons, and has recommendation videos for what to buy at various price points. He builds Iron Man suits of armor which wouldn’t be that far from Mando’s. Bambu 3d printers probably the ea

The amount of work required is entirely dependent upon your abilities, and that's not referring just to 3D printing experience. I'm an industrial technician, so building and wiring took about 24 hours, whereas it might take a bit longer for you. Same with the print settings and Klipper configuration

I just went through all these same issues with my k1 max upgrade. So many small changes needed from ptfe tube, orca slicer printer codes, new cfs extruder and cut module, and cfs feeder/splicer jamming and feeding wrong. Finally still working 80% of the time with Minor ghost feeding and retracting w

Download and install Creality Print. It's the software you use to prepare ("slice") and upload a file to your printer for printing. Assuming that you did the setup for your printer correctly, it should now be on your wifi network. You should then be able to find it from the Creality Print software a

The stock bed also turned taco for me once i started printing engineering filaments. I would recommend the r3men graphite bed, many advantages. You can read about it here: https://www.r3men.com/products/graphite-heated-bed-for-creality-k1-max

The k2 was designed with multimaterial in mind, it functions far better as a whole than either of crealitys attempts at cfs and cfs-c The K1 makes a larger purge tower with the cfs-c to compensate for the lack of a poop chute

My experience is the opposite, between a Creality K1, H2D, and Prusa XL, the Prusa is slow and still prints like dogshit next to the H2D and K1. The Prusa was also the most expensive and isnt even enclosed.

I can't confirm whether or not this is the cause of the problem as I am not about to disassemble my K1C. From a printer-mechanic point of view, this does not make a whole lot of sense. A wobbly bushing on the second gantry rod should not cause dimensional inaccuracies. If it were a fault (and not de

I did not like the idea of bypassing the filament sensor, so created this. https://www.crealitycloud.com/model-detail/creality-k1-max-deluxe-backplate-upgrade
