I have a lot of Creality K1 & K2s + Bambu’s. They’re all pretty much identical in terms of print quality and maintenance. Of course, YMMV. My experience with Creality has been pleasant.

I hate to say "lemon" because there are so many things that can go wrong with a printer and you just have to "fix it". I feel for Creality as 3d printing is still somewhat of an art. Temperatures, flow rates, speed. If I had not had a K1C for over a year and learned quite a bit about 3d printing alr

I changed and updated my extruder to good gears and all that on my k1c and this is what I've found with certain filaments like petg and exocit pla, you have to do lid open printing, is the short answer. When printing fully enclosed the machine heatsyncs, extruder gears warm up, and instead of grabbi

That’s frustrating, but the Creality K1 is usually pretty reliable once it’s dialed in. Repeated clogs like that are often small tuning issues rather than anything serious. I’d look at retraction settings and temps first, and maybe check filament quality too. Creality machines are generally easy to

I had a ender 3 then a K1 which I had so many problems with hotend extruder mainboard it all broke. Then

I have some suggestions - First check the PTFE tube at the back of the printer where it comes from the filament run out sensor to the chain carrier. Two of my K1C printers had the PTFE tube pinched in that area causing the filament to pull very hard. Simple test, remove the filament from the extrude

Welcome to the world of 3D printing. We have all been in your spot. If there are very few or small areas of the print contacting the build plate, try adding a brim when you slice the print. You did not mention which printer you have. I had that problems with two of my Creality K1c printers. If you h
