Okay, so I have made some changes: We bought the CPU and motherboard and RAM as part of a bundle at Newegg, saving us some money. The CPU is upgraded to the latest 9850X3D. Would love some input on a potential build!
You can get more for your money. Since you have access to a Micro Center, you should be taking advantage of the CPU/motherboard bundles which save quite a bit of money. Other parts though tend to be more expensive at Micro Center - competitors typically have better prices. Suggesting below that use
