Best Budget Ring
I recently discovered the Colmi rings. I went with R09. I haven’t tried more expensive brands or those with newer tech. But mine seems fairly accurate for sleep. I’m happy and see no reason to upgrade for now. But if I do, it’s likely to be a Ringconn.

Aurora ring does not accurately measure bp
it's a scam. The ring is a cheap colmi variant, the measurement of bp is a false claim for most of the rings in general, but for that one especially. There are very, very few rings with cuffless bp measurements and no colmi ring is among them.

Why are smart rings (like Oura, Ultrahuman, Ringconn) so expensive? Could we make an open-source one for under $100?
I mean, there are cheaper rings out there. J-style rings, colmi ring, clone rings of j-style, whatever. They are cheaper - but quality of sensors seems to be poorer on them, and support quite often is non-existent.

Main differences between Colmi R06 and R11?
None of the Colmi rings are accurate with regularity, but even a broken clock is right twice a day. The sensors that go into the Colmi rings (and other clones) are so outdated that they no longer have any real commercial value...which is why the rings are so cheap. The high DOA rate and short life o

Colmi R09 ring
I use the R09 because it's the nicest of the Colmi rings (I like the nubs for the sensors for locating ring position) and temperature sensor. Colmi rings are the only smart rings that work with Gadgetbridge, so if you are active at all in the privacy and open source community, they're really the onl

Inexpensive smart ring that syncs to Apple Health?
i have a Colmi R09 and R02. 09 is slightly more accurate, but battery lasts about 2 days. 02 is a bit less accurate but "good enough" for me for sleep, activity, and exercise tracking and battery lasts over 4 days.

Sheep in Wolves' Clothing? The List of Clones Masquerading as Legitimate Smart Rings MegaThread
As with all of the rest of the rings on this list, the Haale and Haale II are "white label" rings that have been licensed from China...in other words, a "clone." Clones are not copies, they are the same, identical devices. The specific device may vary with the examples above, but I will specify here

I would like to know too, I am currently using the Colmi Rings R9. Tracks well but the app is not good deletes data and cannot change or add sleep and menstrual data.

Talk me our of getting a Colmi ring
I have a Colmi R02. Battery lasts 3 maybe 4 days. Activity and Sleep tracking is OK. Less accurate than Huawei Band (which is less accurate than Apple Watch). Ring is bulky and leaves an indent on my fingers. Also fingers unable to close together when straight. For the cheap purchase cost it is defi
