the selection of lip products that companies are putting out nowadays
That’s how I feel about buying dark berry lipsticks. They’re usually some form of pink when I’m wanting more of a burgundy. The exception would be Clinique’s Black Honey, but it’s meant to be subtle.

Bridal makeup trial – honest feedback?
I don't really think this look is doing a lot for you. I would soften the brows - either less dark or less thick - and brush them up and out. The lashes are barely visible but feel heavy on your face... so not worth it! A good tubing mascara will do more for you. Agree the eyeliner is very thick and

I'd like to buy my mother in law a high end tinted lip balm, any recommendations? She uses those tinted Nivea lip balms.
If your MIL likes the Cherry Nivea Lip Balm, I definitely second Clinique's Almost Lipstick! I used to use the former in Blackberry because it was a dupe of Clinique's Black Honey, I think that for the Cherry one that seems a bit more pink, Pink Honey would be better. And I think she'd like it a lot

What do you do if you don’t like the recommend makeup for your season?
Maybe try sheerer shades? Ex: a sheer lipstick like clinique's black honey instead of a traditional red lipstick

What do you do if you don’t like the recommend makeup for your season?

Just off the top of my head, try out Clinique Black Honey. People try to claim that it's a universal col

Recommendation help!
I have the Black Honey Almost Lipstick by Clinique and it's very similar to this, it's one of my favourite shades. I also love the brand Sugar for their tinted lip balm, I have the Sugar Peony Tinted Lip Balm and use that when I don't want to worry about losing my clinique (aka when I am out drinkin

Makeup opinion
as a “soft” season person, I get the feeling that every lipstick is somehow “too much.” My own solution to this, at the recommendation of a bunch of soft summers/soft autumns over on the color analysis subreddit, has been translucent glaze style lipsticks. In particular, I am a devotee of Clinique A

What products can give me a natural 90s look?
Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick was my first department store makeup purchase. (1994) l loved it because it looked really saturated in the tube, but always came out this transparent neutral berry red that was so flattering. Plus the long silver tube was so very sophisticated.
