I personally find Jared very biased against entry level and hobbyist gear, I’ve seen him on many occasions just straight up bash inexpensive gear like the canon EOS RP or the RF 100-400 and others just because it’s not as good as a $9000 setup. Rental ... but if you want to buy? Canon EOSR or EOSRP but I would not recommend the RP over the R unless you are really strapped for cash. The EOS R can even do 4k in 10bit 422 to HDMI (internal is 8bit 420) to something like an Atomos Ninja 5. But rental is a very good option as well.

Why full frame? lenses may end up costing more, and the RP is rather meh vs some newer cameras, especially re things like autofocus. That can matter quite a bit if the cars are in motion. While there are options like the EOS R or RP on Canon, Canon glass is the most expensive right now, especially if you want something that is good enough that you won't wanna upgrade later.
