Canon EOS RP 24MM F2.2 Focus stacked Foreground: 30s ISO6400 Sky: 15s ISO1600

Hardest hikes of my life. Was too tired to wait for the Milky Way to be vertical wish I waited until it lined up with the rock stack but I am still very proud of my favorite photo I've taken so far. Had to use so many ski

Is it possible to choose the perfect camera?

So today I have been struggling to think about something else than what camera should I buy. Because I came to a point of complete confusion about the issue. I have a camera and it is a Canon EOS RP, it has been a good friend for almost 3 years and I have taken it on many trips. However, time passed

Momma | I feel lucky to have gotten this image after getting my first digital camera a month before

After four years of playing and learning with film photography, a trip to western Wyoming prompted me to buy and start to try and understand a Canon EOS RP as a budget-yet-capable mirrorless. I knew I wanted a long lens so the RF600MM f11 IS STM was a decent go-to. On day 2 into the trip, my friend

Seeking advice & maybe just conversation: sold my cameras & now I feel utterly DUMB. Has the market broken itself? Is the magic gone or is it just me?

I have no idea what you are talking about. go look on ebay. There are like a million used DSLRs for little money at every price point. You can get a really nice full frame sensor Canon for cheap these days - 5D variants, 6D variants. Even in mirrorless, R7s and R8s are pretty cheap and amazing camer

Lunar Eclipse March 2025

Here's my best pic from Thursday night's lunar eclipse (aka blood moon.) Shot with a Canon EOS RP w./ Canon FD 500mm F4.5L @1000mm, F11, ISO 1600 AND 1.3 sec. single exposure. Glad the weather held!

Instant upload

It would make more sense to upgrade your old Canon RP (6yr old consumer spec) to a newer/better Canon body with quicker AF rather than switch to a whole new system of lenses, unless you have other reasons to switch beyond wanting quicker AF.

Which do you guys recommend I should get?

RP, no contest if you can afford it. Full frame vs APSC, and Canon have killed off the EOS-M lens mount so they no longer make lenses for it and 3rd parties are slowly abandoning it too.

X Ray Vision

Step by step tutorial then I guess1: Obtain knowledge/experience regarding high voltage electronics, microcontrollers, ionizing radiation, imaging, etc.2. Obtain all the parts: xray tube, you can usually find 70kV tubes on ebay for ~$100 or less but 70kV is not very useful for imaging electronic dev
