I love my canon r7. I got it for around $250 at a pawn shop. I was given a 75-300mm lens by a friend who never used it. Its awesome but I want to start saving for a longer lens.

Since u have a limited budget... and I am assuming the 2000 is for camera and lens...i wonder why you focused on the R6 Mark II. Its a good camera... If $2500 is just for body and you have another $2-3k for a lens then get a R6mkii or equivalent Sony/Nikon body and then a rf 200-800, sony 200-600, or Nikon 180-600. I'd personally recommend R6mkii and the RF 200-800 for extra reach. If $2500 includes the glass then get a crop body and a good lens
