I want a new full-frame
Do you need it now? The Z5ii is cheaper and satisfies all your requirements, but since it's new it hasn't been discounted yet. If Canon or Sony introduces an R6III or A7V, the previous models will get discounted too. I wouldn't consider the S5IIX since video is not your focus. Realistically the Z6ii

Second Camera Body
I just upgraded one of my R6 to a R6iii. It definitely is nice, but you'd have to buy some CFexpress cards and the new camera hates batteries that aren't the newest model of LP6. It gives warnings every time you turn on the camera with other real Canon batteries and won't turn on with 3rd party ones

Canon R6 III vs Nikon Z6 III
Go with the Z6III.R6III is the little bit better camera, it has better AF, more MPX, opengate video etc, but as you said, lenses are more expensive, and you cannot buy 3rd party lenses for RF mount. On the other hand, Z6III is great...AF is fast, 24mpx is more than enough, it has raw video, and you c

Impact of rumoured Canon R6iii for us Lumix Users
That's it. I would still have messed up the lighting in an interview yesterday, because of factors I could not control at the moment, plus the stress and the lack of resources. A camera with a 32mpix sensor would have made zero difference in the final image. R6III must be a welcomed upgrade for the

What made you switch to OM for Macro?
I have the MPE 65 and the RF100mm. I found canon severely lacking for macro, oqning the R6iii, which cannot focus bracket with a flash. Studio shots sure, but in the field with active subjects? Forget it. Nail a single shot maybe. What are your thoughts on the 30mm? Its an extremely small working di

First Wedding in a Few Months - Q&A NEEDED!
I recommend having a checklist of essential photos along with the schedule so you aren't trying to figure out what you need on the fly. Learning some poses and getting inspiration for what the couple likes helps a lot. Scout the venue and immediate area ahead of time, either in-person or google maps

Double down on Canon while moving to interview filming from photography?
You have pretty great camera for docs really, and w24-70 is great too The main problem with canon is that it’s expensive not underperforming. Now if you wanted 2 more R6ii or r6iii and 3x24-70… it gets pricy. R5m1 is overheating but the rest is rather fine. I doubt 70-200 will be that useful but wit

Considering switching Nikon to canon
I shoot with three Z9s. Used to have the Z6II also + tried the Z6III as well. Had a D750 until the D850 came out (think the D850 is the king of all non-integrated battery grip DSLRs). A few of my second shooters use R5s/R6 IIIs, A7 IVs and their AF isn't any better from what I see in RAWs. The Nikon

Lumix S1II vs. Canon R6 III
The worst part about the R6III is the mount that it is attached to. I shoot canon at work and I love it, but I'm not spending my own money on the lenses. Not having access to the Sigma lineup is a huge negative in my opinion, not to mention all the other lenses that just straight up don't exist on r
