Don't focus on the slight difference in resolution. Even if you got the R6ii, you'd likely never notice a difference between 24 and 30 mp. I know someone that had a 90D (30mp) and upgraded to the first gen R6 which is only 20mp. He was so happy with the camera, he didn't miss the resolution at all a

I have the r7 and use it for wildlife and I would gladly use a 39mp stacked sensor. For wildlife the camera readout speed matters a lot to minimize rolling shutter. If I can find a reasonably priced r3 in the future I would gladly pick it up. The readout speed of a stacked sensor is usually faster.
