Is the R7 Mark II actually shipping in May, or is Canon just edging us with these "39MP BSI" rumors?

I have the r7 and use it for wildlife and I would gladly use a 39mp stacked sensor. For wildlife the camera readout speed matters a lot to minimize rolling shutter. If I can find a reasonably priced r3 in the future I would gladly pick it up. The readout speed of a stacked sensor is usually faster.

I like the cropping capabilities of the R5 and their use in studio work, but the large file sizes are mostly a hassle, and thus the reason I was interested in the R6's. file size isn't the priority, what you want is the best autofocus for sports, which always means fully stacked sensors, like the r3
