Had the OG p100 for over a year and the SE for about half a year. No problems with the hinges. Coincidentally I also had the XM4 before that. Didn't know that they could smoke tho.. Even if there would be a problem with the hinges in the future, Cambridge audio seems to replace the headphones easily

Anc from Sennheiser Momentum 4 is not perfect but to me they're comfy. They come with 50 hours battery. I was also suggest Cambridge Audio Melomania P100. They claim 100 hours of listening. (SE edition is the improved version). But I haven't tried them yet.

Oh absolutely mate! We're all different with our preferences. I was gonna try the PX8 S2, but I see many people saying that the PX7S3 are better. And the price is just too much lol.
