Is it just me or the momentum 4 do not sound good?
Totally agree with sentiment. I came needed a daily commuter set of headphones. I originally had the Cambridge Audio p100 but they were to heavy for the duration. I then bought the Sony xm6s, they were fantastic but I ended up gifting them to a friend. So I ended up with the M4s and was I disappoint

I’ve joined the party 🫡
I got my PX7S3's from John Lewis last month. I've read many people preferring it over the PX8 S2. Sent them back after a weekend with them. As mentioned on here, it's that unique soundstage that's not great. All the Bowers have it. You either like it or not. Like marmite haha. I found them too narro

Durability
If you are worried about durability maybe you should consider the Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 / SE. Earcups, headband and battery all user replaceable. Sound is almost as good as PX8 imo. However they are not as well made as the B&W, they feel cheaper but are around half the price at the moment.
