Had the OG p100 for over a year and the SE for about half a year. No problems with the hinges. Coincidentally I also had the XM4 before that. Didn't know that they could smoke tho.. Even if there would be a problem with the hinges in the future, Cambridge audio seems to replace the headphones easily

I think these headphones provide really high fidelity quality audio but I found that by default, even on the flat eq the sub bass is so powerful, it gives me a headache. Cambridge audio melomania p100 is the friend your looking for, much better than bose qc and Sony mx range with a way better soundscape than both, handles lossless on Bluetooth and louder to boot. Oh and they are less than half the price of the others

I then bought the Sony xm6s, they were fantastic but I ended up gifting them to a friend. So I ended up with the M4s and was I disappoint

Anc from Sennheiser Momentum 4 is not perfect but to me they're comfy. They come with 50 hours battery. I was also suggest Cambridge Audio Melomania P100. They claim 100 hours of listening. (SE edition is the improved version). But I haven't tried them yet.

You may want to try that Cambridge Audio Melomania P100. I have heard many good things about it.
