Higher priced breville machines
I got the Oracle Touch in 2021. Probably made 3,500+ in that time. Also during that time, had to send it in for service three times. The third time I had to beg Breville to let me send it in even though it was against their policy to service the same machine more than twice. Ended up replacing it wi

New Barista Pro Grinder Slipping
Welcome to the club, happens frequently to my Oracle Touch even after switching beans and thorough cleaning. Sent mine back a few times and their service is super but they just clean it and send it back, just for the same thing to occur. IMO a Breville known deficiency in the units.

Espresso Series 1 owners, be aware that volumetric mode is turned on by default…
Received mine yesterday. Read the two page how to turn me on booklet. I own a Breville Oracle Touch. Which long ago I quit using the built-in grinder. I have gotten it to a science. But for everyone's information I drink one drink a day. And a 14oz. Bag will change across time. Which means continuou

What are your experiences with longevity with higher end Oracle machines?
Have a 6 year old Oracle Touch that started to pop our GFCI outlet, likely due to leak. Replaced the orings and steam probes, which did not fix the issue. Seems to be a problem with the steam broiler. Loved the machine so much we replaced it with an Oracle Jet....little bit of a side grade IMO, but

Please give me a reason NOT to buy a Breville Barista Pro
Worked in the kitchen retail store before and a few months ago the barista pro along with the regular older Oracle touch and precision Brewer showed up on the list for items eventually going out. Unless things have changed recently. Reason for? I wish I could tell you. I personally think Breville re

Dual Boiler - Not a Buy For Life Machine
Wow what? I’ve been considering getting the oracle touch, jet or dual boiler, for a while but this thread literally just ended any desire to get a Breville/Sage machine. Not servicing more than twice is insane.

The Oracle Touch; is this "good"? [Maintenance]
BEFORE YOU DESCALE THE ORACLE TOUCH Make sure your boiler water sensors are working. Brevtech has a guide on this. Its a common issue to blow thermal fuses from descaling and brick the machine from an owners point of view. This also varies based on model. Do a little homework before trying to descal

Replace solenoid or replace machine?
My breville express is over 10 years old now. Not sure how old exactly I bought it used. I had to replace the water pump and solder some wires. That was 5 year an ago. The express is nice because it’s low tech. My dad bought the oracle touch. Really nice machine but the boilers leak which is pretty

Which espresso machine is best for lattes and americanos? [$1000]
If you aren't turned off by Breville, the bambinos are great! It's way cheaper than the Oracle touch, and in Vancouver there's always someone selling one. And the website eightouncecoffee.ca sells grinders, I have a baratza esp from them which works great for espresso and cold brew.

Breville Oracle Jet
My Oracle Touch just finally encountered a problem I can't fix...(or more accurately, don't want to attempt)... So I'm back in the market. Part of me wants to avoid Breville. Was this thing everything I expected for a $3,000 machine? I was able to increase it's life by probably 2 years. Just not sur
