New KF8 showed up covered in coffee grounds...
I went down this rabbit trail last month. After browsing this sub, I learned that it’s the grinder, not the espresso machine, that makes good espresso. I got the Breville Bambino Plus (on sale right now for $400) + a Eureka Libra 65 AP ($750). In terms of automatic, it depends how you define that. M

Reasonable Next Level Upgrade [~$500]
Breville owns Baratza or they bought them a while ago. Breville started incorporating Baratza grinders into some of their models. The Baratza and Bambino Plus combo is sold on Breville’s website directly https://www.breville.com/en-us/product/bep501?sku=BEP501BTR1BNA1. Amazon is just $50 cheaper. Th

Neighbor is selling the Breville Dynamic Duo for 1300. I am a beginner, and am wondering if this is worth the price? [$1500]
Considering you can get a Barista Touch Impress for US$1000 direct from Breville Remanufactured right now, I wouldn't really consider this a great deal. As so many others have said already, great machine, grinder is mid-at-best with the only caveat being that programmable OD vs. single dose has some

Is it worth upgrading from Barista Express to Barista Touch Impress?
I prefer to do my own puck prep, dosing, dialing in, etc so I don’t see the impress version as being an upgrade especially if you’re already able to do those things. I do like the user interface of the regular touch but with some minor differences, the espresso machine side for intents and purposes

Trying to decide between the Express Impress or the Barista Pro
If you are coming from Nespresso one of the impress models may be better. While tamping on your own isn't hard it does take awhile to get used to. Additionally, tamping manually is a bit messier at times at invevitally you spill some grounds. Not a huge deal, but the self tamping machines avoid this

Which model of Breville coffee machine would you recommend? I want it to grind coffee and have a milk frother.
I have a Breville Barista Touch Impress. The grinder is not great. If you don't use a dark roast it will jam up and not grind. You'll just hear the clutch slipping and it will mess with the auto measuring amount causing you to overfill the basket. Even at an inner setting of 7 and outer at 30 it wil

Do Breville Barista models go up in quality with an increase in price? [$1000]
I have a BBE, if you do end up getting a breville machine with built in grinder, I would definitely recommend getting one with the upgraded burrs. (Barista pro, touch impress, etc) I’ve seen lots of people get 7-10 years out of their breville machine, you just need to descale and back-flush on a reg

Buying myself a Breville
Any idea on price range, as the Breville range is wide. If you budget stretches to the Beville Barista Touch Impress, I can vouch for it 100%. The touch screen is idiot-proof (press icon and it does something). Push in the coffee extractor till the grinder lights up. Press a button to grind the bean

Breville Barista express impress vs Touch impress [$1500]
Honestly it’s totally up to individual….. Before I get into coffee things… To me, coffee is coffee type person. Coffees were surviving tool to awake from morning hahaha. My wife made coffees for me. One day… my wife said she wants Breville machines because it’s on sale so we bought it then I was the

New house, new machine![$3K+ CAD]
For ease of use and just good, convenient coffee, the barista touch impress offers a lot to like imo. The main thing is that it's extremely important to use good water that won't cause scale build up! The "worst" part of the machine is probably the grinder but if you ever wanted to , you could alway
