Why is my shot squirting? [Breville Barista Pro]
The things others here are saying (puck prep, grinder, etc.) are certainly applicable, but a lesser known factor is pressure. A lot of Breville machines (aside from the Dual Boiler) have an issue where the pressure hitting the puck is far, far higher than the claimed 9 bar figure. The over-pressure

Stick with my Bambino or upgrade to Breville Barista Pro [$500]
Bambino to Breville Barista Pro is not an upgrade. Performance between these two machines would be virtually identical and you'd be losing the convenience of instant heat-up with the Bambino and its smaller footprint. Single Dose Espresso Tube Dispenser
I use a breville barista pro, so it doesn't have a pressure gauge and the built in grinder does not accurately dispense beans. Thats why I have to weigh the beans if I don't want wild variances in weight. Too much or too little prevents me from getting a good puck.

Under-extracted or just acidic coffee? [Breville Barista Express]
All too many people say "buy different equipment" but I genuinely found upgrading the grinder to be the biggest improvement in consistently avoiding the consistently "sour" shots with my Breville Barista Pro. I don't think I managed to pull more than a few shots that tasted good on their own during

Got this BBE for 140€, worth it?
Ah my bad, i thought BBP refers to barista pro, didn't realize it can also be bambino plus! Yea my thinking is since the pro has Baratza grinder, maybe it is better than the grinder in the express. But I'm not sure if there is really a difference since Breville owns Baratza anyway. And then addition
