Buying Advice Needed [$360]

I'm guessing you're in the states? If you're scouting for these types of clearance deals, I'd check around TjMaxx, Marshalls, and Home goods. You might be able to score a Breville bambino, bambino plus, barista express, barista pro, or even one of the touch/oracles but those are significantly more.

Ex-Breville/Bambino owners, what did you upgrade to?

I had a Barista Express for 2 years. About a week after its 1 year warranty was up, it started playing up. Refusing to stop based on time, blinking lights all the time. One day it just stopped turning on. I swore off Breville for life and bought a Gaggia Classic Pro. Had that for over 5 years now wi

Help! Underextraction on finest grind setting [Breville Barista Express]

I had the same issue. Only I had the older BBE model that didn't even have inner burr adjustment. Ended up getting a standalone grinder. I think the Breville knew I was cheating on it with another grinder, because shortly after that it packed a sad and had a pretty critical solenoid valve failure. S

What Breville Portafilters Are Made Of Breville uses different materials depending on the machine tier: The Aluminum Tier: The stock portafilters included with

We replaced it with .... the Sage Barista Express Pro only because I wanted the fancy screen. The milk frother is on the way o

What are the best home espresso machines for someone who’s tired of bad coffee?

Totally +1 for people saying that you have to accept making espresso well at home requires some time investment as a hobby, and is by necessity somewhat complex. That said, you can get really good returns quickly (inside a month) with just a bit of youtubing, a set of scales, and a good grinder pair

Squirting even on finest grind, previously no issues [Breville Bambino Plus & Baratza Encore]

Suspect it’s the same thing as happened to my Barista Express. It is and isn’t the gasket. Above the group head there are some internal screws. If they come loose the water gets around the screen and pushes the gasket off. Good luck getting to them, Breville don’t make these easy to dismantle and re
