This or that? Comparing Breville espresso machines

The letdown here is that Breville doesn't offer an otherwise advanced unit w/o a built in grinder. I find Breville grinders to be where costs are cut the most. They feel and sound cheap, and in my experience grind inconsistently. Now I have a DF54 and it's been a rock solid performer with my Bambino

Do Breville Barista models go up in quality with an increase in price? [$1000]

"Do models go up in quality with an increase in price?" No. They don't go up in quality with price. ""Is the Express internals quality the same as the pro or touch?" I'd say the Express Internals are better than the Pro or Touch as far as pulling shots. The Express uses a thermocoil system which is

What’s everyone’s “go to” latte art?

Lmao, whatever comes out. Most days I’m lucky if I get any milk to float on top (usually the milk just sinks to the bottom, despite looking decently textured after I steam it and even when I pour.) On a really good day, it’s this, and only because that’s all I can seem to do: I just like, wish that

Oracle Jet vs Bambino (+ Breville grinder) — or something else? [$1500]

yeah thinking the same about the bambino. the grinder is where im stuck honestly, not sure which one is the right pick. breville was literally available at every store nearby so thats why i was leaning that way, but now that i know its not a good option im not really considering it anymore. chatgpt

Breville Bambino Plus ongoing problems

Agree with the previous reply. Sounds like the volume has been set or preset and you need to reset it. If you cut short a shot the machine will automatically set the volume to this for the next time. As for returning the machine, I've just been through an issue with my Bambino. It depends on your co

Ninja Luxe 701 vs Bambino Plus (using Eureka grinder for both)

my bambino plus just stopped pushing water after only 4 years. I live in a city of 600K and there is no one here that services Breville, well there's one but only if you bought the machine from them. Looking into changing parts, but no clue which one is toast and it will cost a couple hundred in par

A worthy upgrade - Bambino Plus to Decent DE1XL

I understand that expendable income varies from person to person, and I can absolutely understand upgrading from the Breville (which I have) to a more premium machine. But I do not understand the leap from a Bambino Plus directly to a $4k machine lol. That feels like trading in a Civic for a 911 GT3

Underwhelmed by the Bambino Plus [$1000]

Got downvoted in another comment for saying the truth about the Bambino plus, but the Bambino plus glaze really needs to stop. Agree with OP that it's mid. Especially at 400 usd it's almost on par with the Gaggia Classic (500-549 usd?) ie its not even 'cheap', 400 usd you can get a breville barista

Underwhelmed by the Bambino Plus [$1000]

Bambino plus being lauded so much on reddit made me think twice about trusting reviews and advice on here tbh. I used it during a period of time when my breville dual boiler was being serviced . Also now own a LM micra. With both I can make 3rd wave cafe quality flat whites . Bambino is marginally b
