Do Breville Barista models go up in quality with an increase in price? [$1000]

"Do models go up in quality with an increase in price?" No. They don't go up in quality with price. ""Is the Express internals quality the same as the pro or touch?" I'd say the Express Internals are better than the Pro or Touch as far as pulling shots. The Express uses a thermocoil system which is

Freshly roasted beans just hit different.

I have the bambino plus so the grinder is separate and I have tried a really fine pre ground aswell which choked it but this finest setting is still having the shit run through too fast 😭😭😭 The grinder is also breville

Considering simplifying / going manual

I was a newbie using a Breville Bambino plus, pretty quickly learned to pull decent or good shots consistently, then got quickly bored and frustrated with the lack of control, so I got a robot, thinking I might use both. Now selling my BB+ because I haven't touched it since getting the robot. The wo

Just can’t get the acidic/sour taste away from my espresso.

That's the main reason why I returned the breville bambino plus - inability to control the temperature and flow. I know it's a good starter espresso machine. I returned it after a week. Looking to buy a better machine now

Upgrade time

I upgraded from a Bambino Plus to a Quick Mill Pop Up, and it’s been a major step up. I never felt like the Bambino got the best out of lighter roasts, even medium-light beans. The Pop Up has much better temp stability (you've got 1/2 liter of water at the right temperature and a lot of metal in the

Flair Pro 2 or Breville Bambino? Which would you recommend?

Coming to this 3 years later, I did a side by side taste test (using the Bambino Plus to steam both cups) and the Flair Pro 2 produced a WAY better cup of espresso. I wouldn't say slightly worse with the Breville by any means. It's absolutely significant. It is drinkable? Sure is. It's about on par

Espresso Machine recommendation to pair with new DF54 grinder [$1500]

I’m going to suggest something a little different. Cafelat Robot Barista + Fellow Skagg EKG Pro electric kettle. It’s so simple to use, very forgiving, has an enjoyable workflow, and the espresso is amazing. I can easily pull 3 double shots in like 5 minutes total - all consistently good. It’s also

Underwhelmed by the Bambino Plus [$1000]

Got downvoted in another comment for saying the truth about the Bambino plus, but the Bambino plus glaze really needs to stop. Agree with OP that it's mid. Especially at 400 usd it's almost on par with the Gaggia Classic (500-549 usd?) ie its not even 'cheap', 400 usd you can get a breville barista

Underwhelmed by the Bambino Plus [$1000]

Bambino plus being lauded so much on reddit made me think twice about trusting reviews and advice on here tbh. I used it during a period of time when my breville dual boiler was being serviced . Also now own a LM micra. With both I can make 3rd wave cafe quality flat whites . Bambino is marginally b
