Nah, definitely not age – I’m 55+ and have tinnitus. AAC + Spotify is like a double strike. Apple Music with Apple Lossless enabled will help with playback quality and listening wired, lighting to 3.5mm TRS, with provide you the best sound quality at the expense of being tethered. I own one too many

I have the Creative BT-W6 dongle, which is basically the same as BTD-700, judging by the feature set. I also use it with B&W PX7 s3 that supports every aptX Adaptive flavor and Snapdragon Sound. Hence, I will try to answer both of those questions: Yes, because every Apple device streams AAC - which

Personally I very much enjoy using the Questyle QCC. I have the pro but I think that’s overkill for the B&W since they don’t have LDAC. I find Apple Lossless music sounds phenomenal on the Px8s2. Yes, I have switched between AAC and the dongle and I do notice a difference. The soundstage opens up an

I was in the same position as OP and considered most of the headphones mentioned here and finally settled on the B&W PX7 (s3, the recent version). Boy, are they good. To be fair, all the reviews say the noise cancellation itself is not the absolute class-best, “only” good, but all the other features

If you were using the headphone with microphone over Bluetooth, it's going to sound bad because standard Bluetooth codecs only support 2 channels of audio. That means 1 channel for your ears (mono) and 1 channel for your microphone. Not to mention much lower bitrate, too. If B&W actually releases th

I get the impression that ftom Sony Mx4 generation and up, it's pretty small improvements that have been made to ANC. Another impression I am left with after comparing tests is that the best sounding headphones have mid ANC and likewise the ones with best ANC have only good audio quality. I have the

I wouldn't necessarily go into this process with this train of thought; this is a blanket statement, made more vague by including an arguably ambiguous term. What classifies as an "audiophile" headphone, exactly? There's no real standard in place, and you'd likely get disagreements on what would fal

Just got like in red. I had trouble finding the ridiculously small power button 😅. No battery for the remote. I'm a bit annoyed by the line out volume depending on the headphone volume, but it paired very easy with my B&W px7 S3. I had a few strange noises in BT as well, I hope they fix that soon.

I had them but returned. I really like the Sennheiser sound, but it's not neutral. I enjoy the way the vocals are pushed forward. But I also couldn't wear the headphones for too long, certainly not a full short haul flight (under 2 hours). Ear pain. In the end I bought the B&W PC Px7 s3. A slightly
