I just got here to ask the same question. Sony Bravia TV, Bose 900 soundbar. Apple TV 4K. High speed 8K HDMI cable connected to eARC on Sony TV. Soundbar doesn’t turn on properly when I turn the setup on with Apple TV remote. Or it turns on a few seconds later, making the TV & the Apple TV restart.

The bass module 700 and the surround speaker 700s were introduced 10 years ago and haven't been refreshed since. They've been repurposed and renamed a couple of times though. I think so, but you should ask Bose. Even though the bars are the same dimensions, the screw mounting screw placement might be different. If you swap the 900 for the ultra, can you let us know if you hear a difference? I have the 900 and I’ve been happy with it, but wondering if the Ultra sounds bet
